A plot (hypothetical) of the i-v characteristics, (terminal voltage as a function of the current drawn out, and not its associated variables) for a battery is shown in the figure below.

###Part 1 If a 2-\Omega resistor is connected across the battery terminals, find the terminal voltage of the battery and the current through the resistor.

###Part 2 A lightbulb is a nonlinear resistance because of self-heating effects. A hypothetical i-v plot is shown in the figure below. Find the bulb current and bulb voltage if the lamp is connected to the battery.
