Welcome to 6.002!! The first lecture will be a recitation on Wednesday September 4. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
Lectures are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 12pm in 34-101.
Recitations are on Wednesdays. You will be assigned to one of the three recitation sections by the registrar: 11a-12p, 12p-1p, 1p-2p, all in 3-442.
Lab sessions are on Fridays. We have four sessions: 9a-11a, 11a-1p, 1p-3p, and 3p-5p. The registrar will make an initial automatic assignment for pre-registered students around the weekend before reg day. Starting the first week of classes, to view or change your assigned lab section or add yourself to a lab section if you did not pre-register, go to the 6.002 Stellar site, be sure you are logged in, change to any lab section that has room in it.
To get access to the lab, read and digitally sign the lab safety form. Also, please bring a laptop to the labs.
We will be using Piazza for all course-related discussion this term. This is where to post your questions and get responses from the staff. We'll also post announcements, corrections, etc., to the forum.
You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with all of the course information, particularly those relating to grading and collaboration. If you have any questions about any of the course policies, please post a question on Piazza!
We will activate your course website accounts during the first week of classes.
